This series of studies on the nature of Christ is unlike any other in that it investigates the subject in connection with His dual role as atoning Sacrifice and High Priest.  It follows Paul's methodology in Hebrews 2-5 where he not only stated what nature Jesus took at His incarnation, but more importantly, the reasons why. Typical studies on the nature of Christ tend to be shallow since they are merely stand-alone presentations, with conclusions hurriedly drawn based on a handful of bible passages and a string of Ellen White statements. It is extremely important to view the subject of the nature of Christ in light of His dual role as atoning Sacrifice and High Priest in order to view the full extent of His sacrifice and condescension.
